1. Information We Collect

Pagoda uses Firebase Authentication. When you first visit, an anonymous account is created automatically. If you choose to create an account, we store:

• Email address (if you create an account)
• Display name (chosen by you, max 16 characters)
• Game statistics (games played, games won, Tichu calls)
• Game action logs (moves made during games, for replay and improvement)

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide the game experience: authenticating your sessions, displaying your stats, and enabling multiplayer. Game logs may be used in aggregate to improve the AI opponents.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) and is subject to Google's privacy practices.

4. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page. This permanently removes your Firebase Authentication account and anonymizes your profile data. Past game records are preserved with "Deleted User" as the player name.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

Pagoda uses browser local storage to save your preferences (deck style, bot type). Firebase Authentication uses standard session tokens. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

6. Children's Privacy

Pagoda is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
