Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Pagoda uses Firebase Authentication. When you first visit, an anonymous account is created automatically. If you choose to create an account, we store:

• Email address (if you create an account)
• Display name (chosen by you, max 16 characters)
• Game statistics (games played, games won, Tichu calls)
• Game action logs (moves made during games, for replay and improvement)

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide the game experience: authenticating your sessions, displaying your stats, and enabling multiplayer. Game logs may be used in aggregate to improve the AI opponents.

3. Advertising

Pagoda displays interstitial advertisements between games. On iOS and Android, ads are served by Google AdMob; on web browsers, ads are served by Google AdSense. These services may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for details. You may remove ads with a one-time in-app purchase.

4. In-App Purchases

Pagoda offers a one-time purchase to remove advertisements. Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store), Google (Google Play), or Stripe (web) depending on your platform. We store your purchase status (ad-free entitlement) in your account but do not store payment card details — those are handled entirely by the payment processor.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Your data is shared only with:

• Google Firebase (authentication, data storage)
• Google AdMob/AdSense (advertising — may collect device and usage data)
• Apple, Google, or Stripe (payment processing, when you make a purchase)

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page. This permanently removes your Firebase Authentication account and anonymizes your profile data. Past game records are preserved with "Deleted User" as the player name.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

Pagoda uses browser local storage to save your preferences (deck style, bot type). Firebase Authentication uses standard session tokens. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

8. Children's Privacy

Pagoda is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
